Job Description:
As an Audit Supervisor, you will be an essential part of our audit department, contributing to the successful execution of audit engagements and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services to our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising a team of auditors in conducting audit engagements, ensuring adherence to auditing standards, and maintaining accuracy and compliance in audit work.
- Assisting in client relationship management, understanding their business requirements, and providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Supporting audit planning and risk assessment efforts, identifying critical audit areas, and assisting in the design of effective audit procedures.
- Reviewing audit workpapers, financial statements, and other audit documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to professional standards.
- Collaborating with Audit Managers and senior management to contribute to the development of audit strategies and process enhancements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
To excel in this role, we seek the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive audit experience, with experience in a supervisory or leadership role being advantageous.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- Familiarity with auditing standards, financial reporting, and relevant regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively guide a team and interact with clients.
