Job Description:
As an Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in our audit department, overseeing and managing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Leading and supervising a team of auditors to execute audit engagements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards, and delivering high-quality audit services.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their unique business needs, and providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and audit planning, identifying key audit areas and designing appropriate audit procedures.
- Reviewing audit workpapers, financial statements, and other audit documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
- Collaborating with partners and senior management to develop audit strategies, drive process improvements, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the audit practice.
Qualifications/Requirements:
To excel in this role, we seek the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive audit experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and applicable regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively manage a team and interact with clients at all levels.
