This article discusses the advantages of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) strategy, this initiative to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enable companies to focus on core competencies. This article covers BPO services provided by SW Indonesia, including routine compliance (monthly, quarterly, and annually), and control improvement services, such as risk management, internal audit, and development of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). This article also introduces Project Co-Sourcing as a collaborative model where consulting firms acting as pool of resources to strengthen engagement teams or enhance project capacity. For example, SW China may request a team from SW Indonesia to conduct due diligence procedures on a target company in Indonesia related to an acquisition plan. To optimize costs and time, SW China can outsource the work to SW Indonesia, and the SW Indonesia team will carry out the due diligence procedures in Indonesia. Some examples of co-sourcing assignments between offices include stock taking, financial reporting, tax reporting, internal audits, and more.

  1. Co-Sourcing with Other Consulting Firms (Non-SW International Members)

SW Indonesia is engaged to strengthen the engagement team of another consulting firm, either within Indonesia or abroad. For consulting firms located outside Indonesia, this is typically done for time and labor efficiency, particularly when the firm does not have a branch or affiliation in Indonesia. For consulting firms based in Indonesia, this collaboration generally occurs when the other firm lacks the technical expertise required to meet their clients’ needs, such as in the areas of taxation, legal advice, sustainability reporting, and other advisory services.
